Every store gets its own PlazaStack

Where PlazaStack is headed: a workspace shaped around how each store works, from the home screen to the quick actions, built to grow with you.

Most business software is built as one admin for everyone. Every store gets the same menus, the same home screen, the same words for things. A transmission shop and a sneaker store open the same dashboard and are expected to find their way around.

We think that is the wrong starting point. This post is about where we are taking PlazaStack instead.

One admin for everyone has a cost

A store owner does not use every screen. An auto shop has little use for a shipping queue. A sneaker store does not need a page built around repair tickets. When all of it is on offer at once, the screens you need are mixed in with the ones you never open.

That costs time, and it costs confidence. New staff take longer to learn the system because most of it does not apply to them. Owners stop looking at parts of the admin because it feels like someone else’s tool.

The direction: a workspace for each store

Instead of one admin shared by everyone, each store gets a workspace set up for how it actually works. That means a few things:

  • Which screens you see. Only the ones that belong in your day.
  • What is on the home screen. The numbers and tasks you check first thing in the morning.
  • The quick actions. The two or three things you do all day, one tap away.
  • The wording. Names for things that match how you talk about your own business.

What that looks like in practice

Picture two stores.

An auto shop opens PlazaStack and sees Charge a card and Invoices at the front. That is the work: finish a job, take payment, send a bill to a fleet customer who pays later. Nothing about shipping is in the way.

A sneaker store opens the same product and sees something else. The home screen shows orders to ship and low stock. That is the work there: pack today’s orders, and reorder the sizes that are running out before they are gone.

Same product underneath. Different front door, because the two stores need different things first.

Why this matters for staff

A new hire at the auto shop should learn to charge a card and send an invoice in their first hour. They should not need to learn what a stock alert is. A new hire at the sneaker store should be packing orders on day one.

When the workspace matches the job, training is shorter, and fewer mistakes happen because there are fewer wrong buttons within reach.

Built for stores that grow

Many of the stores we talk to start with one location and hope for more. A second shop, a pop-up, a warehouse for online orders. The same questions come up each time.

If every location shares one generic admin, the owner ends up working around it. With a workspace for each store, a new location can start from the setup that already works, and then change what is different about it. A store with several locations can still have each one set up for how that location runs.

We are building PlazaStack so that growing does not mean starting over.

What we are not saying

This is a direction, not a finished feature list. We are working toward it step by step, and we will share each piece as it ships. We would rather tell you where we are going and show real changes along the way than promise everything at once.

We also want to hear from you. If you run a shop, a repair business, a jewelry counter, a sneaker store, or a service business, tell us what is the first thing you want to see when you open your admin in the morning. That answer is the design.

The short version

One admin for everyone makes every store work around software. We are moving the other way: each store gets a PlazaStack set up for how it works, with the right screens, the right home screen, the right quick actions, and the right words. An auto shop starts with charging and invoices. A sneaker store starts with orders to ship and low stock. And as a store grows into more locations, the setup grows with it.
